Marvel’s comic book character, Daredevil, is right up my alley.
He wants to rid his town of the bad guys, but he wants to do it without killing them.
Netflix developed the series and rolled out an entire season in one fell swoop. I got addicted and tried not to ‘binge-watch’ too much. But it was tough.
During the first season, Matt Murdock – the blind hero with incredible fighting skills – was simply running around in a hoodie pounding on the bad guys.
But he realized he needed a better look.
Something that would provide him with a little extra protection.
So he convinced this tailor guy to make him a suit that had protective armor woven into the outfit.
Made it red.
And even requested a special helmet that had little horns sticking up at the top.
Yep. Matt Murdock was fully embracing the town’s name for him: Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
Market yourself right and you’ll get better results.
What happened after Matt had the new threads was a little more respect… a little more fear.
And Daredevil’s reputation increased as someone you just didn’t want to eff around with.
In other words, Daredevil did what every business should be doing on a regular basis.
Positioning.
If you have a CPA practice, you know there’s a lot of competition for what you offer.
And a ton of competition for the attention (and money) of your potential client.
Whatever you offer, you must position it right.
You don’t just want to throw it out there in a hoodie and expect it to get the respect it deserves.
You must take the time to make your services presentable.
And make sure that every time you offer something, it’s consistent with your mission.
When people saw Daredevil in action, they knew what he was about: Taking out the bad guys with no mercy.
Is your marketing a little threadbare?
Your CPA practice may not be about taking out the bad guys, but you do want to make an impression.
It’s why you want a clear, consistent message in your marketing that will identify your CPA practice as one to take seriously. The “trusted adviser” who brings a great amount of value to the table.
And of course, email marketing is part of that.
Today’s the last day I’m offering my assistance as an email reviewer. At least for this special offer.
If you have an email that you want to put out into the world that clearly positions you as the “good guy,” then you want to make sure you’re doing it right. I’ll take a look at the email and give you some pointers on how to improve it.
Whether it’s an email to your list or maybe that hot prospect you want to impress. All for less than a night buying drinks at Josie’s.
Only $97 greenbacks.
An explosive value you can’t shake a Stick at (heh… for all you Daredevil fans).
Rattle my cage by sending an email to mr”at”maryrosemaguire”dot”com.
I’ll respond promptly so we can get your message out there as soon as possible.
Hoodie or horns?
Your choice.
You can be as forgettable as Matt Murdoch “innocently” making his way across the street with his walking stick.
Or you can be as memorable as Daredevil fighting the bad guys in his fierce red bodysuit of armor.
Grab this offer now so your competition will beg for mercy when they see you coming.
Fighting the good (marketing) fight…
