#TheGratitudeProject - Beethoven & Co.

My love for classical music began with Looney Tunes.

For those who are younger, and missed the Saturday morning cartoon fun of watching Bugs Bunny outwit poor Elmer Fudd, my deepest condolences.

You missed out on a major cultural moment.

To this day, I have no idea if it was a secret plan to get little kids hooked on classical music, but it certainly did the trick with me.

The background music for those Saturday morning cartoons was classical music. It could be that the studio didn’t have to pay anyone royalties for it. Or maybe someone thought those silly antics by Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam & Co. had to provide some redeeming quality.

Who knows? All I know is that whenever I get serious about creating anything, I’ll listen to classical music more often than not.

Classical music inspires me, transcends my earthly state, and elevates my soul.

There really are few things in my life that have that kind of power.

Classical music makes me feel as though anything is possible.

And really, how can you resist that?

Classical music rocks.
