For copywriters and marketers, the time has come to make a commitment.

For copywriters and marketers, the time has come to make a commitment.

A few months ago, I listened to a great interview between Kevin Rogers, owner of Copy Chief and Brian Kurtz, former Executive V.P. of Marketing at Boardroom for over 30 years and owner of Titans Marketing.

Brian helped the founder of Boardroom, Marty Edelston, build the company from around $3 million in revenues in 1981 to a high of $150 million in the mid 2000’s.

He was named Direct Marketer of the Year by Target Marketing in 2007 in addition to other industry awards and recognition.

Brian has worked with some of the top A-List copywriters around. So he definitely knows the score when it comes to copywriting.

Kevin Rogers is a copywriting coach and accomplished copywriter. He interviewed Brian to dive a little deeper into some thoughts Brian had expressed in his email to his subscribers.

The basic idea is this: Brian believes the traditional model for copywriters is changing.

The days when a copywriter would be hired by a direct marketing company, write a winning sales package and then reap huge royalties – is about done.

Meanwhile, marketers are looking for something more. A deeper commitment to their business.

It’s a fascinating discussion and one many copywriters and marketers have been thinking about for some time.

You can check out the interview here.

Brian basically covers a topic that has been near and dear to my heart for some time.

It’s all about relationships.

Trust.

And loyalty.

I’m very careful about choosing the clients I’ll work with.

For instance, I know the level of commitment I’ll bring to the table.

But if I sense for one minute that someone is looking at me as “a dime a dozen” choice, I’m out.

Someone in that interview made the comment, “It’s not about dating, anymore. It’s about marriage.”

That’s what commitment is all about.

And more and more marketers and business owners are looking to build that kind of a relationship.

Take a listen to the podcast and send me your thoughts.

Meanwhile, if you are looking for something more… check out this page very carefully.

If it sounds like we may be a good fit, follow the directions to download the questionnaire and email the completed form to me. We’ll then schedule a phone consultation.

I already have a few clients I’m “married” to but can work with one or two more.

Commitment. It’s the secret of what will bring in bigger profits.

Dedicated to getting you on the Mo-Money Train…
